"Hadassah High School"
Hadassah High School started last year in May with the goal to raise money by selling jewelry and FUNraising for computer stations for the Mother Child Pavilion in Jerusalem.
A computer station that children can use while they are in the hospital costs around $1,800 and Hadassah High School has already raised over $700 towards one computer station.
In the beginning of January, Hadassah High School's first FUNraising was ice skating at Winter Lodge in Palo Alto where money was raised for the computer station. The next FUNraising event will be trampoline jumping at Sky High and is open to any high school student! Please contact DeeAnn Hazani for further information at 408 431-3690 or dhazani@aol.com.
The group has been working hard making jewelry to sell for our project which is the purchase of a computer center for the children in the Mother And Child Pavilion at Hadassah Hospital En Kerem. Please contact Sandi Weinstein if you are interested in purchasing the jewelry or donating to project.
If you know of any high school teen who would be interested in joining our new, vibrant group, please have them contact Sandi. We are following the philosophy within the Hospital...Jews and non-Jews working side by side for the sake of mankind. GIRLS DO NOT HAVE TO BE JEWISH TO JOIN. ALL ARE WELCOME TO HELP CHILDREN IN NEED.
For more information, or to join the group, contact Sandi Weinstein, Teen Liaison for HHS, at (408) 541-0987 or arththerapy2@sbcglobal.com.

Tables for 12 Luncheons
The 2007/08 Hadassah year promises to be very exciting for our Table for Twelve Luncheons. We have luncheons planned for every month. Are you interested in being a hostess? If you have expressed interest in the past or would like more information about being a hostess, please contact Marlene Burak at table4-12@sharone-hadassah.org.
The hostess prepares a lunch and presents a program. The program can be on any topic the hostess chooses. If she does not have a program, we can make suggestions. The guest sends her check to the hostess to reserve her place at the table. The cost is $18, payable to Sharone Hadassah. Please make your reservations early. The tables fill up fast.
All proceeds of these events goes to a Hadassah project chosen by the hostess. How about you being the next hostess?
