Hadassah's Centennial Year!
Next Year in Jerusalem–for 100 Reasons!
Join Your Friends at the Hadassah Centennial Convention
October 1 is the deadline for signing up to attend Hadassah’s Centennial Convention and be guaranteed of staying at one of the three hotels specifically reserved for our region members. While you will still be able to sign up for the convention after October 1, you might really want to be guaranteed of being in the same hotel with your friends.
Each morning, a bus will pick up convention attendees from their hotel and take them on a tour of specific Hadassah sites. It’s going to be much more enjoyable doing this with friends and acquaintances, so consider making your decision now rather than waiting. The hotels are: David Citadel, Leonardo Plaza, and the Mount Zion. They represent three price ranges, one of which will hopefully meet your needs.
Most people are sharing a room – some even have 3 to a room, though they are small and the third person will sleep on a rollaway bed.
To register go to www.hadassah.org and click on the convention information. For more information or help with the registration process please contact Ginny Baird (408-997-3950, ginny.baird@gmail.com) or Jane Jacobson (408-234-9682, jane_jacobson@usa.net) soonest.
Thank you for your support for Hadassah and its good works. See you next year in Jerusalem!!

Opportunities to Support the Centennial Celebration:
Centennial Keepers
"Centennial Keepers" -- those who have become Keepers (or stepped up their gift) during Hadassah's Centennial campaign -- will be specially recognized during the Centennial Convention in Jerusalem in October 2012. (Our own Sandi Weinstein is listed on a Keepers pillar.)
If you pre-pay your gift up to the 5-year benchmark now, your name will be inscribed in time for the Centennial Convention. For more information, please contact Marilyn Sefchovich at 408-379-3258 or marisef@sbcglobal.net
Centennial Key
You are the heart of Hadassah. You hold the key to the future. Unlock the door to Hadassah’s future with a $100 donation and receive a beautiful sterling silver and crystal key on a sterling silver 18” chain. Wear your Centennial Key proudly, and show future generations that you were there when Hadassah celebrated a century of empowered women who make a difference! A beautiful gift for yourself or for a bat mitzvah, birthday, graduation, holiday or any special occasion.
The Centennial Key Campaign is ending as of December 30, 2011. We can only accept orders until November 15. Since we have a limited quantity of keys available, we can no longer offer keys on consignment. We must now require prepayment. Your unit receives full goal credit for each Key donation. To order contact Grassroots Fundraising: frservices@hadassah.org or call 1-866-229-2395.
Centennial Path
The Centennial Path will be located on the grounds of Hadassah Hospital, Ein Kerem, enhancing Miriam's Garden. We have raised enough money for our first chapter brick! Our chapter will be inscribed on a path commemorating Hadassah's Century of Healing. If you wish to have your brick inscribed and placed on the Path in time for Hadassah's 2012 Centennial Convention in Israel, payment must be completed by March 1, 2012. For more information, please contact Rebecca King at grandmabecky08@yahoo.com.
To celebrate 100 years of Hadassah and to pave the path to tomorrow. To pave the path to tomorrow. To honor the past and inspire the future. In recognition of your $1,500 or $5,000 donation, your name will be inscribed on a path commemorating Hadassah’s century of extraordinary work. The Path will be laid in the beautiful Miriam’s Garden at the Hadassah Hebrew University Medical Center in Ein Kerem, Jerusalem. It is a link to our past and symbolizes our hope for the future as we dedicate the Sarah Wetsman Davidson Tower at Ein Kerem during our 2012 Centennial Celebration. The Centennial Path will serve as a legacy of what has been—and what can be—because of you. There are two levels for participation: $1500 donation (3 lines on a 4 x 8 brick, 15 spaces per line) and $5000 donation (5 lines on an 8 x 8 brick, 15 spaces per line). Donors (or those whom they wish to acknowledge) will receive a beautiful commemorative certificate.
