Liz Alpert, CPCR Immediate Past President and West Coast Resource Chair, will give an update about Hadassah. We will have the delectable opportunity to see a demonstration of how to prepare special items for Passover and taste the delicious results!

Home Sweet Hadassah

Throughout spring, Hadassah Members and Associates are coming together in homes all across the country to toast Hadassah's Centennial. These intimate gatherings will provide an opportunity for our members to celebrate Hadassah's milestone anniversary and personally connect to Hadassah's vision and mission.

Date with the State
Jewish Public Affairs Committee

The Jewish Public Affairs Committee will once again be convening the Date with the State. The conference will start with a continental breakfast at 8:30 and continue for most of the day with statewide speakers and a lobbying visit to the Capitol.

It is always a meaningful, educational and exciting event and Sharone Hadassah members are encouraged to participate in this JPAC event.

The budget will once again be a high priority as there are more possible cuts in education and social services. There is also a resolution condemning campus anti-Semitism that JPAC staff and Board are working on.

Sharone Walkers

If you want to get exercise and socialize with other Sharone Members, join our Walking Group. We are now walking every Friday, alternating locations--one week around Almaden Lake (Los Alamitos Trail) and the next week in Campbell. For information contact Bette Emanuel. The walk takes about 1-1 1/2 hours. If you like, we will go out for coffee or breakfast afterwards. This is a great way to get exercise and meet other Sharone members.
